We accept orders only on the basis that you have read our terms and conditions and that placing your order confirms that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.

Payment
Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card including Visa, MasterCard, and Switch.

We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order secure. All payments by credit/debit card are performed using a secure server.

Payment by cheque
Please send a cheque for the cost of the product(s), including the correct delivery charge to Empirical Praxis Ltd, 27 Abbeyhill, Ashgate, Chesterfield, S42 7JL. United Kingdom. Please include the following information: the name and code of the gift you are ordering, your email address, telephone number and delivery address.

Prices
All prices and offers are subject to availability. Errors and omissions excepted. VAT (tax) is included on all prices, including delivery, at a rate of 17.5%.

Tax
Customers outside the U.K. are responsible for local import duties and taxes and any costs incurred during the import over and above the prepaid shipping charges.

Shipping and handling
We will aim to despatch your order within 14 working days. We always aim to deliver your order as early as possible but due to the hand made nature of these products please allow up to 28 days delivery. All shipments are subject to material availability. The customer will inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and will notify Empirical Praxis in writing of any shortage or defect within seven days of receipt.

Delivery to all destinations is made using an appropriate carrier and a signature is often required.

The delivery charges displayed below are for each Tiara ordered. For jewellery orders, there is a flat charge £2.50 (which covers the entire order).

In most cases the 'per item' delivery cost is reduced when more than one product from the same category is ordered. Products have to be delivered to the same delivery address for this reduction to apply.

Data protection
We request your name and address to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service but we will not sell or rent your name and address to any third parties. As customers are our most valuable asset we strive to protect their details and as required by the UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998. We follow strict security procedures in storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Web site descriptions
Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions, specifications, colours and prices are correct. However colour representations may vary depending on your own monitor and we endeavor to be as accurate as possible. All sizes are approximate. All items are offered subject to availability at the time of ordering.

Interpretation
These Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the Law of England. Empirical Praxis and the Customer agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

We endevour to respond to all complaints within five working days. Mobile and international call charges are dependant on the originating contract or country).

How to return goods
Please print off a copy of your order and keep it safe as a copy of these terms and conditions and your order may not be kept by us and we advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt. This must be sent to us in writing, either by post or email.

You must return the goods to us at your cost in an unused and re-saleable condition. Please ensure you obtain proof of postage, as Empirical Praxis Ltd cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of returns.

We will refund the purchase price paid by you for the tiara goods, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive a notice of cancellation in writing or by email from you (please read details on the Contact Us/Enquiry page). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

When submitting your order you are confirming to purchase goods and allowing Gifts to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying goods. Any information given at the time of ordering may be collected and used for marketing purposes by ourselves only.
